Call for Community Engagement Volunteers:

Join Cincinnati Parks Foundation in support of Park Games 2016 hosted by your Cincinnati Parks.

About Park Games:

The summer games are not just for athletes. Park Games encourages participants to enjoy various Cincinnati Parks. The quest for gold begins Tuesday, July 19, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Kids Spotlight event at Washington Park. 

Volunteers will distribute Park Games flags and participants will collect five stickers to win. Stickers will be distributed at Carol Ann's Carousel, Krohn Conservatory, Smale Riverfront Park, Sawyer Point, Friendship Park and other pop-up locations throughout our top-rated urban parks system.

The closing ceremoinies will be hosted Sunday, August 21, 2016, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., at Krohn Conservatory's Return to Eden: A Summer Celebration.

Engagement Activity:

Distribute Park Games flags to new participants and stickers to those on the quest for gold.

The flag is a 8.5 x 3.75" rack card, pictured below, consisting five Park Games rings. Each ring represents a different Cincinnati Park engagment opportunity. There are three unique community engagement stickers, one each for Cincinnati Parks Foundation, The Women's Committee and goVirbrant.

Participants will complete the flag by collecting the five Park Games ring stickers and win gold by bringing it to the closing ceremonies at Krohn Conservatory!

All volunteers will receive a t-shirt to where during engagmenet shifts.

Please plant to arrive 10 minutes prior to the start of your volunteer shift, at which time you will receive Park Games flags and stickers for distribution.

For engagement activities at Smale Riverfront Park, public parking is available in the Riverfront Garage, located at 124 East Mehring Way, Cincinnati, OH 45202. At Burnet Woods, parking is available throughout the Park. Krohn Conservatory has a parking lot and street parking throughout Eden Park.
